The Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education invites online applications for the Two Year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) Common Entrance Test – 2026.
Eligible candidates can apply online through the official website:
Important Dates
- Start Date (Without Late Fee): 04 April 2026
- Last Date (Without Late Fee): 26 April 2026 (11:59 PM)
- With Late Fee (₹500): 27 April 2026 to 29 April 2026 (11:59 PM)
- Correction Window (Except Category): 30 April to 02 May 2026
- Category Correction (Offline/Email): Till 05 May 2026
- Exam Date: 31 May 2026 (11:00 AM to 1:00 PM)

Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must ensure their eligibility as per the prospectus available on the official website.
Age Limit:
- General Category: Born between 31-05-1994 and 31-05-2009
- SC/ST/OBC/PHH/EWS & Freedom Fighters Category: Born between 31-05-1989 and 29-05-2008
Application Fee
- General Category: ₹900/-
- SC/ST/OBC/PHH/EWS: ₹600/-

Important Instructions
- Candidates must fill details (Name, Father’s Name, Mother’s Name, DOB) exactly as per Class 10 certificate.
- Only one application form is allowed per candidate.
- Applications without fee will be rejected.
- No application via post/fax will be accepted.
- Candidates are advised to apply well before the last date to avoid last-minute issues.
Application Process (4 Easy Steps)
Step 1: Registration
- Click on “New Registration” and fill all required details
- Note down the Application Number for future use
Step 2: Upload Documents
- Upload scanned Photograph (15–20 KB)
- Upload Signature (10–15 KB)
- Format: JPG/JPEG only
Step 3: Payment
- Pay examination fee online via Debit/Credit Card
Step 4: Final Submission
- After final submission, no changes will be allowed
Important Note
- Applications will be accepted provisionally.
- Final eligibility will be verified during counselling/document verification.
- If any information is found incorrect, candidature will be cancelled.
- Decision of the Board/Committee will be final.
